Choose a minor in human physiological sciences and explore how the major organ systems of our bodies function. Discover how the trillions of cells in our bodies can be divided into groups based on the diverse functions they perform. For example – some groups of cells, or tissues, are responsible for causing movement while others are responsible for transferring vital substances from the external environment to our internal environment. You’ll gain an appreciation for how our organs function – from the smallest cellular level all the way up to the whole organism level.
