Theatre and Drama offers an introductory first year subject and a range of second and third year subjects. All subjects integrate practice with theory and all subjects involve some degree of performance or production. We study: plays; theatre history (from ancient Greece to the present); performance makers; theatre theory; and live performance. We make: presentations; theatre productions and performance events. We teach and learn through: lectures; seminars; occasional online interactivity; but mostly practical workshops. This means that attendance, timeliness, co-operation and teamwork are crucial to the way we work.
