Throughout this major, you’ll build practical skills in health education, communication, health planning and management. Put your skills into practice and build valuable hands-on experience when you design and implement a small community health promotion project. By the end of this major, you’ll be able to identify and evaluate evidence that informs public health practice and use it to develop public health policies and programs. Studying public health also builds transferable skills in communication, analytical thinking and problem solving – preparing you for a wide range of careers.
