To qualify for the award of Bachelor of Biomedical Science (Honours), students must complete 120 credit points consisting of:120 core credit points

Course intended learning outcomes

On successful completion you will be able to:

Demonstrate in-depth knowledge in a field of study in biomedical science
2.
Demonstrate highly developed analytical and problem solving skills through the application of complex theoretical concepts that underpin the field of biomedical science to the solution of scientific problems
3.
Work effectively as a practicing researcher, both independently or as part of a team
4.
Choose appropriate methodologies to address biomedical research questions, and analyse and interpret data appropriately to draw logical conclusions
5.
Critically analyse and evaluate published literature to communicate scientific information in context
6.
Demonstrate academic integrity and scientific rigour in conducting and evaluating scientific research, and managing self in professional practice
7.
Apply safe laboratory practices in the design and performance of experiments and data collection
