La Trobe's Associate Degree of Agriculture and Technology is an agriculture course with a practical focus. Specially designed with industry input, graduates of this course are prepared to meet the needs of an industry currently being transformed by technology and digital disruption.
Choose from specialisations such as agronomy, viticulture and winemaking or sports turf science and management.
Delivered in partnership with Melbourne Polytechnic, the course combines classroom and online learning with practical study opportunities. You'll gain hands-on experience in Melbourne Polytechnic's labs and facilities.
During your two-year associate degree you'll have the opportunity to complete an industry placement, and depending on your specialisation you'll gain experience learning on-site in wineries, vineyards, laboratories and commercially operated farms.
