This subject covers several industry recognised certifications from the Linux Professional Institute . It teaches both the LPI Linux Essentials entry level certification and more advanced LPIC-1Exam 101. It validates the candidates technical abilities in installing and configuring a computer running Linux and in using the command line. Students are encouraged to subsequently pursue the LPIC-1 Exam 102 to enable them to gain the full LPIC-1: System Administrator certification.
