In this subject you will gain an understanding of upcoming innovations and various issues and problems associated with digital health through the exploration of contemporary issues in a systematic manner. You will gain a solid understanding of the various digital health innovations, investigate the related issues/problems, and brainstorm on various strategies to tackle various healthcare problems. You will explore the roles of digital health innovations and how they are applied in health care, public health and health promotion, and the roles and responsibilities of health care professionals, patients, technical specialists and stakeholders in digital health. You will investigate ethics and law in relation to digital health innovations, and research updates in digital health. You will also explore the design and development of digital health innovations for patient-centred care. All of this will be investigated in the context of a contemporary topic.
