Subject intended learning outcomes

On successful completion you will be able to:
1.
Apply the theory and methodology of finance to research and evaluate the investment, financing and dividend decisions of firms, in different countries.
2.
Apply analytical and valuation techniques, using appropriate digital tools and information services, to solve problems relating to the funding and financial management of firms.
3.
Demonstrate an understanding of the goals of listed corporations and how they make decisions to maximise the value of their owners' claims.
4.
Demonstrate an understanding of the implications of corporate and personal taxes on corporate financial policy and decision-making as they apply, in different tax regimes, under different behavioural characteristics, and in light of different market imperfections.
