Subject intended learning outcomes

On successful completion you will be able to:

Communicate in written Italian with clarity and logic, deducing and following appropriate grammatical and structural patterns

Understand written and audio-visual texts that use high-frequency language and explore not only day-to-day activities but also a number of major issues in contemporary Italy

Summarise and write critically and creatively about written and audio-visual texts studied in class, using an appropriate linguistic register and displaying an understanding of certain key features of contemporary Italian life
4.
Work with a partner or as part of a team in order to present reasoned opinions, concise summaries, and viewpoints on topical issues, interacting with a degree of fluency and spontaneity, and responding to the contributions of others
