Subject intended learning outcomes

On successful completion you will be able to:

Demonstrate how robust experimental design and scientific method is used to generate new knowledge and ideas.

Conduct laboratory experiments in a safe and professional manner following written protocols and record data obtained accurately.
3.
Analyse, interpret and report on both published experimental data and data generated during experimental classes.
4.
Explain the underlying concepts for the experimental techniques being used.
