Subject intended learning outcomes

On successful completion you will be able to:
1.
Develop an environmental understanding and localised knowledge of selected river environments.
2.
Develop reflective and analytical skills relating to personal and group experiences in river environments.
3.
Establish technical paddling competence on moving water (Grade 2).
4.
Perform self-rescue, basic rescue of others, and equipment recovery on moving water (Grade 2).
