Subject intended learning outcomes

On successful completion you will be able to:

Demonstrate an understanding of contemporary pharmacy management issues, opportunities and risks including how they relate to OHS, privacy and other relevant legislation
2.
Critically evaluate an existing pharmacy service and develop a comprehensive and feasible business plan
3.
Research, define and argue a business case to justify new products and services
4.
Describe the principles of accreditation and how they apply to the practice of pharmacy in all practice related settings
5.
Discuss the principles of staff performance management including supervision, performance review and conflict resolution
6.
Demonstrate an understanding of working in a multidisciplinary healthcare team that acknowledges the various roles of other healthcare providers in the management of patient care.
