Overview

The theory/research component is mandatory and must be undertaken concurrently with VPA4SPB in Semester 2. Critical dialogue and theoretical analysis pursued through lectures and tutorials contribute to the production of an exegesis which will inform examination of studio outcomes.

Learning activities

Use writing skills to show an understanding of art practice specific to a consolidating skills in a specific discipline. Developmental artwork, artist journals, personal writing on contemporary exhibitions viewed in different contexts. To consolidate an individual approach to contemporary visual arts practice and evaluate the practice within this context.
