Subject intended learning outcomes

On successful completion you will be able to:

Critically evaluate concepts and processes through creative, reflective and critical thinking at an advanced level

Interpret, critique and communicate with sophistication about artworks, concepts, practices and materials within art disciplines

Learning activities

Produce a coherent body of work in a chosen area of inquiry. Identify and develop skills within contemporary art practice related to the student's studio exploration. Build an understanding of contemporary art practice and contextualise and evaluate your own practice within this framework. Use oral skills to develop and present an understanding of the contemporary art context in which your practice is situated and to engage in group critiques of artworks.
