On successful completion you will be able to:

Identify and utilise a range of strategies to locate resources, including catalogues and internet search engines

Use a bibliographic database to store and organise references and generate bibliographies
3.
Write a substantial review of professional and scientific literature that synthesises and analyses the sources in order to identify major themes, issues and trends in scholarship

Learning activities

Identify and elaborate a research topic and prepare a bibliography of the literature relevant to the research topic. Store the references identified on a bibliographic database system and use that system to generate the bibliography accompanying the major assignment. Write an annotated bibliography and review of literature review relevant to the research topic.

Requisite rules

Prerequisites: Admission to a Masters or Honours program within the School of Humanities and Social Sciences or AGPA or ACA or AG001.
