On successful completion you will be able to:
1.
Investigate and analyse their own and others experiences of media in the context of the relationship between audiences, the media, media products and society.
2.
Critically analyse, plan and synthesise, and implement a range of learning and teaching activities and sequences for senior secondary students (Year 11-12in Media, which involve a variety of pedagogical approaches and resources (including safe and ethical use of resources, including ICT appropriate to state and national curricula.
3.
Describe, design, and evaluate a unit of work involving a variety of teaching strategies which cater for individual differences in student learning across a range of abilities, and integrate literacy and numeracy capabilities and cross curriculum priorities of state and national curricula in Media at senior secondary school level
4.
Examine the relationships between assessment, feedback and reporting, learning task design, student engagement and their knowledge and skills in Media, and apply to these relationships to the development and modification of curriculum documents.
