On successful completion you will be able to:

Analyse the socio-technical factors surrounding health information management environments and their implications for health information management work.
2.
Demonstrate the knowledge and skills to develop strategies supporting macro- and micro-planning functions, budgetary and financial operations, and management in health information environments.
3.
Assess and evaluate the relevance of theoretical approaches to staff management in the areas of patient/client information, and achieve competence in applying a set of practical management skills in health information workplaces.
4.
Apply safety, equity and other relevant legislative requirements to the health information service and health ICT workplace.

Demonstrate acquired knowledge and competence in the development, implementation and embedding of change driven by emerging technologies and changing policy environments in health information management.
