Subject intended learning outcomes

On successful completion you will be able to:
1.
Demonstrate safety knowledge and skills specific to coastal travel, through a focus on navigation, working with tides, living and travel skills, group management, minimal impact practices, health and hygiene, first aid in remote settings, communications and weather interpretation.
2.
Research an aspect of cultural and natural history, ecology and/or coastal management and present findings to a group.
3.
Further develop outdoor living and travelling skills through participation in a continuous extended journey in a relatively remote natural setting.
