In this subject you will develop your understanding of podiatric biomechanics and knowledge in orthotic theory. Authentic clinical cases and enquiry-based activities are used to develop your understanding of the role of podiatric biomechanics and orthotic therapy in commonly encountered conditions in the context of evidence-based practice. You will complete a program of practicums and start to develop a range of clinical skills that underpin the biomechanical management of the cases examined.
Capstones provide students with a way of integrating and applying knowledge and skills gained throughout their course.
