Apply knowledge of sport coaching theory and practice to manage and support elite athletes with different personality types.

Transmit knowledge effectively with a range of stakeholders in the context of high performance sports programs.

Identify the risks associated with sport coaching and employ selected strategies to minimize these risks.
4.
Practice responsibly in accordance with accepted national and international sports coaching professional standards.
5.
Review best practice in coaching principles and to improve individual coaching practice.

Learning activities

Students will undertake a range of learning activities through online and face to face activities, individual and group tasks, development of sport plans, and apply their knowledge and skills during practical sessions.
