Subject intended learning outcomes

On successful completion you will be able to:
1.
Apply technical knowledge and skills to perform basic pure tone audiometry, immittance audiometry and speech audiometry on adult patients.
2.
Evaluate and select appropriate clinical tests required to conduct basic audiological evaluations.
3.
Analyse and interpret information from the basic test battery to determine the nature and degree of hearing impairment.
4.
Undertake professional practice with initiative and accountability.

Learning activities

You will engage in a range of activities including tutorials, workshops, online learning, placements, assignments and clinical skills /hearing screen assessments designed to achieve and assess your performance in alignment with the subject’s intended learning outcomes. You will receive timely feedback (formal and informal) about your performance on these activities to support your learning.
