Subject intended learning outcomes

On successful completion you will be able to:
1.
Identify and evaluate the underpinning cardiac and respiratory pathophysiology, including relevant clinical signs and symptoms
2.
Accurately formulate and refine clinical management plans, by applying pathophysiology, clinical assessment and patient condition trend recognition skills, for a range of cardiac and respiratory conditions
3.
Determine and perform roles and responsibilities in paramedic services and other areas of the emergency health system under general supervision
4.
Assess current evidence based clinical practice approaches for use in clinical management and critique their application in a range of clinical situations
