Subject intended learning outcomes

On successful completion you will be able to:

Competence to perform tasks involving the use of computerised planning information
2.
Develop an understanding of how planning schemes operate in different states, and assess the purposes and uses of various approaches to land use planning
3.
Develop an understanding of statutory planning elements by processing applications for planning approvals to achieve the objectives of planning and environmental protection
4.
Further develop research and writing skills through independent research
5.
Understand the principal elements of the Victorian planning system and related administrative processes, and of environmental and planning legislation.

Requisite rules

Prerequisites: Students must have completed 60 credits of Planning subjects; OR be admitted in one of the following courses: ACCPD, AGCPD, AMCPD, AM002B, AG002B, AC002B, ABURE, ABURPB, AH003B.
