In this practical subject you will explore technical, experimental, and conceptual approaches to art making in relation to contemporary and historical art practices. Through focused exploration in painting and spatial practice you will further develop your experience in the dynamic hands-on learning environment of the studio. Practical workshops and group discussions support your independent studio practice, providing skills relating to processes and materials; critical and reflective thinking; experimentation, risk taking and problem solving.
Capstones provide students with a way of integrating and applying knowledge and skills gained throughout their course.
