Subject intended learning outcomes

On successful completion you will be able to:

Critically apply International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and equivalent Australian Accounting Standards Board (AASB) standards to account for business transactions
2.
Evaluate the appropriateness of accounting policies, estimates and judgements used to prepare financial statements.
3.
Apply relevant accounting standards and tools to analyse acquisitions and prepare consolidated financial statements in accordance with relevant IFRS and AASB standards.
4.
Generate and communicate financial and non-financial data from global, social, economic, and regulatory perspectives to various stakeholders.
