On successful completion you will be able to:

Distinguish, describe and /or explain the evolution of organisms by natural selection and other processes

Distinguish, describe and/or explain the principles of population genetics and their relationship to natural selection
3.
Classify the main kingdoms and phyla of eukaryotes using diagnostic characteristics, phylogenetic criteria and/or taxonomic keys
4.
Distinguish, describe and/or explain the processes that have led to the current distribution of organisms in populations, communities and biomes, with a focus on Australian plants and animals
5.
Distinguish, describe and/or explain ecosystem processes including species interactions and energy flow, and the economic, social and environmental impacts of humans on ecosystems.
