Subject intended learning outcomes

On successful completion you will be able to:

Compare and contrast the differences between the student role and the Registered Midwife role and identify strategies to undertake the transition
2.
Analyse the importance of midwives as leaders, managers, preceptors, educators and agents of change
3.
Evaluate the concepts of self-care, mitigating personal risk and building resilience in relation to midwifery practice
4.
Analyse the midwife’s professional responsibility, personal accountability for practice of self and collaboration with others
