Subject intended learning outcomes

On successful completion you will be able to:

Determine the provisional clinical diagnosis with reference to normal and pathologic oral tissues.
2.
Develop comprehensive care and treatment plans within the scope of practice of the oral health therapist, including appropriate referral to other health care providers
3.
Facilitate oral care services, through behavioural management techniques, for people requiring special care
4.
Plan high quality oral care to people with special needs through a comprehensive understanding of disability issues.
5.
Promote oral health and wellness of diverse communities through collaboration with other health professionals.
