Subject intended learning outcomes

On successful completion you will be able to:

Implement and justify a safe, effective and comprehensive patient assessment in the context of community health and extended care contexts.
2.
Implement and justify safe, effective and evidence-based patient-centred interventions in accordance with assessment findings.
3.
Explain the pathophysiological adaptations associated with common conditions encountered in community paramedicine settings and integrate this knowledge into the interpretation of assessment findings.
4.
Evaluate clinical indications for advanced medical imaging, minor procedures, and interventions within the scope of practice of the community paramedic and facilitate effective referrals to appropriate health services.
5.
Analyse the influence of individual and social determinants of health on patient outcomes in community paramedicine, incorporating principles of cultural safety, ethical decision-making, and legal responsibilities into professional practice
