This subject presents students with the opportunity to undertake more detailed study in specialist topics in Australian archaeology. Students work in collaboration with a staff member to develop a directed study plan focussed on a specific issue or area of expertise.

Discussion in supervisory sessions, preparation of a journal or series of abstracts reviewing the relevant literature in the topic, preparation of a major problem-oriented essay

Prerequisites: Students must be admitted in one of the following courses: AM001, AMPA, AG001, AGPA, ACA and must have subject coordinator approval.
