Subject intended learning outcomes

On successful completion you will be able to:

Understand and critically evaluate diverse research methods in social sciences, recognising their applications and appropriateness for specific research questions and problem areas.

Develop the ability to design a comprehensive research project methodology, including selecting data sources, data collection techniques, data analysis approaches, and dissemination strategies.

Address ethical considerations in research design, including identifying potential risks, benefits, and approaches to ensure rigorous and ethical research practices.

Enhance research writing skills, understanding how to effectively communicate research findings, methodology, and analysis while adhering to academic writing conventions.
