Subject intended learning outcomes

On successful completion you will be able to:

Devise and develop story ideas, use appropriate publishing platform, and develop social media skills to develop their own 'brand' as a journalist.
2.
Evaluate and interpret a diverse range of information from different sources in the course of content production
3.
Identify relevant and credible interview subjects and demonstrate the capacity to organise interviews in a way that meets industry standards.
4.
Prepare a long form journalistic piece to deadline and to industry standards required for publication.
