On successful completion you will be able to:

Develop safe and efficient nursing practice that is professional, accountable, ethical, legal and underpinned by a sound knowledge base and effective communication

Apply sound clinical reasoning and evidence-based person-centred care to plan, implement and evaluate care that is prioritised and culturally relevant for patients across the lifespan
3.
Apply appropriate health assessment techniques that are practised, systematic and person-centred across the lifespan considering individual, anatomical, physiological, cultural, and psychosocial factors to recognise and respond to clinical change
4.
Exhibit safe use of medicines for multiple patients in a range of settings and situations
5.
Critically review knowledge of pathophysiology and diagnostic testing and apply to individuals experiencing acute or chronic comorbid disorders across the lifespan
6.
Critically evaluate your own professional nursing practice against the Standards for Practice and Quality and Safety frameworks

Learning activities

Subject content will be delivered via blended learning, using the LMS with embedded learning material and lectures, and face to face workshops and lab classes.
