Subject intended learning outcomes

On successful completion you will be able to:

Working individually or in a team, communicate discipline knowledge to diverse lay and professional audiences based on clinical data

Analyse clinical cases applying introductory clinical reasoning

Identify ethical issues in relation to orthoptic practice
4.
Explain the processes of infection control in clinical and surgical assisting environments and identify risk mitigation strategies to reduce potential adverse effects in clinical settings
5.
Apply safe work principles to ensure safe clinical practice and engage in team collaboration to develop interpersonal skills and working strategies.
