Teamwork, research, project management, and evidence-based practice are important aspects of science and professional pharmacy practice. In this subject, you will undertake either a team-based research project or have the option to participate in an industry-based project. In the team-based project you will be able to choose a topic relevant to pharmacy practice, or chemical, biological, or pharmaceutical science. Your project team will meet regularly to discuss strategies, manage progress, distribute roles within the team, and analyse results. Your team will be mentored to achieve completion of your research project, communication of your findings, and development of skills in effective teamwork and project management. In the industry-based project, you will attend the site on multiple occasions, research the industry, including regulatory affairs, good manufacturing processes, research a topic related to the industry, roles, and opportunities, and complete a detailed report on the topic and potentially undertake a mock job interview.
