Subject intended learning outcomes

On successful completion you will be able to:

Critically analyse the role of physical activity and sedentary behaviour in population health and lifestyle-related chronic disease
2.
Interpret population data and research evidence to appraise factors affecting physical activity behaviour
3.
Identify and assess populations at risk of physical inactivity and sedentary behaviour to apply recommendations and inform the development of interventions
4.
Analyse and evaluate the impact of public policy and population-level interventions on promoting physical activity and reducing sedentary behaviour
