This subject supports students to develop an understanding of a range of methodologies used in educational research. It explores both general methodological questions and concerns in the field of educational research as well as the use of specific research methodologies and methods, spanning qualitative and quantitative approaches. Students will consider the general affordances and limitations of different methods and methodologies, before exploring a methodological approach relevant to their own research question(s) in more depth.
